Kinesiology

Dialogue between the body and the energy of life

Kinesiology is an integrative therapy that uses muscle testing as a tool for assessment and therapeutic support, allowing access to information from the body, both conscious and unconscious. Through variations in muscle tone in response to different stimuli, it highlights physical, emotional, energetic, and biochemical imbalances.

It is based on neurosciences and psychoneuroimmunology, which study the links between the nervous system, emotions, thoughts, and the immune system. This holistic approach considers the body as a whole and seeks not only to identify blockages, but also to correct them using various techniques such as structural adjustments, energetic rebalancing, emotional release, or personalised recommendations.

History

In 1965, Dr. Goodheart discovered applied kinesiology by observing that stimulating specific points on weak muscles restored their tone. He highlights the link between muscles, organs, and pathologies via the nervous system.

In the 1980s, Raphaël Van Assche developed holistic kinesiology and introduced the muscle shortening reflex as a tool for evaluating muscle chains.

Benefits

Kinesiology acts on biochemical, structural, vascular, lymphatic, nervous, and emotional mechanisms. It helps to:

  • A global rebalancing of body and mind

  • An improvement in physical and emotional well-being

  • Une réduction du stress et des blocages inconscients

  • A personalized approach adapted to each individual

It can be applied to children and adults, as well as animals and plants, providing support for physical, behavioural, or psychosomatic issues.

In essence, kinesiology makes it possible to listen to the body to identify, understand, and rebalance physical, emotional, and energetic imbalances through muscle testing and a holistic approach to the individual.
